What’s your favorite thing about working at Fulcrum?

I love our ambition. Everyone at Fulcrum wants to help our clients face the future with confidence. We’re here because we want to invest better, solve problems better, and make the world better.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

Pursuing a career I love. Starting a trust company at age 31. Learning Tango well enough to win a trophy. Providing a safe home for refugee girls. Skiing Couloir Extreme at Blackcomb with my soulmate. Seeing Fulcrum recognized for our impact on the community and in our industry.

What motivates you?

Discovering patterns, making connections, and tackling challenges.

What do you do when you’re not at the office?
Hiking, skiing, reading, and the occasional concert or car race. 

What’s been your best moment so far this year?

Riding in an Iditarod sled was pretty awesome!

Do you have a pet?
Jim and I have a dog, Linus. He’s a 55-pound Bitsa – you know, bitsa this, bitsa that.

What is one thing you can’t live without?
Freedom.

What’s your favorite TV show/movie?
The best shows stand the test of time, and they’re also a bit of a challenge to watch. The West Wing and Deadwood come to mind.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I have a paragliding license.

What’s the one thing you can’t resist?
Gummy bears.
