CELEBRATING OUR SCHOLAR
As we have shared in previous posts, our dedication to the community is a core aspect of what defines Fulcrum. In line with this commitment, we are excited to celebrate four years of our wonderful partnership with the College Success Foundation (CSF). Our scholarship recipient, Hawi Kadir, is currently a senior at the University of Washington (UW). After a busy summer filled with a full-time internship and studying abroad in Ethiopia, she is now focused on her studies in data management (SQL), management strategy, business finance, and managerial economics. Additionally, she serves as the Vice President of the Oromo Student Union.

Hawi reflects on her journey at the University of Washington (UW) so far, embracing every opportunity for growth and discovery:
Over the past three years at UW, studying business has been an incredible journey. As a first-generation student, it hasn’t always been easy, but the challenges have made the rewards so much sweeter. From tackling group projects to competing in case competitions and studying abroad. Each experience has pushed me to grow in ways I never imagined. I’ve also found a true sense of community and belonging on campus through cultural groups, events, and countless opportunities that have made UW feel like home. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of donors and I am forever grateful for their support. Thank you for making this amazing journey possible!
