Adam Hicks is an associate advisor and important part of our amazing Fulcrum team. He’s a whiz with our financial planning software and works with our lead advisors to help ensure Fulcrum’s clients have peace of mind regarding their finances. He’s also quite the outdoors fanatic and an avid runner. Read on to learn a few more fun facts about Adam.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Fulcrum?

Making connections with the people I work with and helping clients achieve their goals.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

Personally, getting married to my best friend Sabrina last September. I never thought I’d be able to pull it off. I guess we all get lucky sometimes! Professionally, obtaining the CFP® certification to help clients the best I can.

What motivates you?

Knowing that I am in the position to make positive impacts on people’s lives.

What do you do when you’re not at the office?
Whatever crazy idea I commit myself to. Sabrina and I are currently training for an 18-mile trail race in Wyoming in June. My more normal hobbies include being a Mariners fan, fly fishing, backpacking, skiing, and mountain biking.

What’s been your best moment so far this year?

Being able to file my first ever married filing jointly tax return. My good friends know this has been a goal of mine since my lonely single days.

Do you have a pet?
We have two dogs that keep us busy. A 4-year-old aussiedoodle and a 10-year-old supermutt!

What is one thing you can’t live without?
Nature. Seasons and their impact on the world around me always amaze me.

What’s your favorite TV show/movie?
I’ve been watching Survivor since its first season. More recently, Sabrina has introduced me to the drama-filled universe of The Bachelor, which is entertaining in its own right.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I can spend hours looking at Google Maps and not realize the time has passed.

What’s the one thing you can’t resist?
A nice 9:00 pm bedtime.
